How to get to the Atrion Hotel from the Heraklion Airport:

Take the road that leads to Heraklion (keeping the sea to your right).
At the second traffic light turn right, taking the road that leads to
the port. Then turn left (keeping the sea to your right). Continue 1500
meters/one mile along the seaside road. You will then see the old
Venetian port to your right. Continue another 400 meters (0.3 miles) 
and you will encounter the ruins of the Dominican Monastery of St.
Peter, to your left. Carefully turn immediately left (it's like a U -
turn with the Monastery in its center), and then turn right, to Chronaki
street. The Atrion hotel is straight ahead, on your left side.

How to get to the Atrion Hotel from the Heraklion port:

Take the seaside road, going WEST (keeping the sea to your right).
Continue for half a mile. You will then see the old Venetian fortress
and port on your right. Continue another 400 meters (0,2 miles) and you
will encounter the ruins of the Dominican Monastery of St. Peter, to
your left. Carefully turn immediately left (it's like a U - turn with
the Monastery in its center), and then turn right, to Chronaki street.
The Atrion Hotel is straight ahead, on your left side.
